The short-answer is NO. Power Up Spartanburg is open to any small and/or minority-owned business located in Spartanburg County.
To participate with Power Up Spartanburg, businesses must be locally owned and operated within Spartanburg County.
In short, yes! Power Up Spartanburg extends throughout all of Spartanburg County, including every municipality countywide.
Any business with 50 or less employees is classified as a small business. Don't worry, if you are near the margin - you are still able to participate!
Power Up Spartanburg is here to help your small business, no matter what phase you're in, from ideation to business growth to exit planning.

Once you complete an intake form, you will receive a confirmation email with a booking link to have an initial call with someone from our team. From there, a Power Up representative will be in contact about how to best get started and what programs are right for you.
There are many ways to get involved! Power Up Spartanburg offers various programs, workshops, and events that you are able to participate in. Be sure to follow our social media @PowerUpSpartanburg to stay in the know!
Power Up Spartanburg is an action item directly derived from OneSpartanburg's Vision Plan 2.0. Along with private investment, Power Up has been made possible by the allocation of $6.5M from Spartanburg County.
